Home Information Pack (HIP)

If you are selling a 4 bedroom property or larger you will need to order a HIP before marketing can be commenced.

3 bedroom properties will need a HIP as from 10th September 2007.

If your property is on the market before this date you will not need a HIP unless you are still on the market on 31st December 2007.

If your property is marketed after this date without a HIP you could be fined.

What does a HIP contain?

• Sales Statement
• Land registry Title and Plan
• Energy Performance Certificate
• Local Authority Searches
• Drainage and Water Searches
• Additional Documents for Leasehold Properties Copy of New Home Warranties (If applicable)
